A small plane to have with you in the car.
You can fly anytime, and just about anywhere. Quite fast, very maneuverable
and very, very quiet. The ultimate holiday fun airplane!
That's exactly what we have come up with! Our
Holiday 280 requires the following hardware:
-speed 280 motor with gunther propeller
-2 x 6 (or 9) gram servo
-micro speed controller
-micro receiver
-7 cell AAA battery (preferably Sanyo Twicell
700)
With small control deflections the Holiday
280 can easily be flown by someone who can fly a trainer. In the hands of an
experienced pilot, and with more deflections the Holiday 280 is a very fast
(in view of the low power on board) and agile little plane. With the proper
setup, split second rolls and tight turns can be flown. There are no vicious
habits and the Holiday can be brought in for reasonably slow and easy
landings. How about 280 pylon racing?
The all CNC cut kit is complete apart from
the abovementioned items and 5 minute epoxy.
Required tools: very sharp knife, ruler, sand
paper, sanding block, needle nosed pliers and cutters.
